{"id":20859,"date":"2016-11-28T16:36:07","date_gmt":"2016-11-28T16:36:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/emticorp.com\/emtilogin\/?p=20859"},"modified":"2016-11-28T16:36:07","modified_gmt":"2016-11-28T16:36:07","slug":"recruits-accepted-for-electro-technical-officer-batch13-et17a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emticorp.com\/emtilogin\/updates\/recruits-accepted-for-electro-technical-officer-batch13-et17a\/","title":{"rendered":"RECRUITS ACCEPTED FOR ELECTRO TECHNICAL OFFICER BATCH13 (ET17A)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Attached is the list of those recruits who have been accepted for the next programme in\u00a0<strong>Electro-Technical Officer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"liwp\" style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\n<li><strong>ETO Batch 13:<\/strong>\u00a0 Basic Training for course\u00a0<strong>ET17A<\/strong>\u2013 starts on\u00a0<strong>5 December 2016<\/strong>.\u00a0 See call-up instructions below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u style=\"color: red;\">*PLEASE NOTE <\/u><\/p>\n<p>ETO Batch 14: Basic Training for course\u00a0<strong>ET17B<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 starts on\u00a0<strong>10 April 2017<\/strong>.\u00a0 Selected recruits will be informed during next week and the list of their names published.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>COURSE ET17A<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The recruits listed in the document named Recruits for ETO Batch 13 Selected for Basic Training Course ET17A\u00a0<strong><u>are hereby called-up<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0to report to the Academy at the Peda Campus of the University of Bahir Dar from 3 December 2016,\u00a0<strong><u>but not later than 17:00 on 4 December 2016<\/u><\/strong>, for the start of their programme.\u00a0 The first course in the programme is basic training.\u00a0 On successful completion of this course, you will start the 6-month course, Electro-Technical Officer, which is the core course of the programme.\u00a0 Basic training consists of the following subjects:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol class=\"liwp\">\n<li>Elementary first aid<\/li>\n<li>Fire prevention and fire fighting<\/li>\n<li>Personal safety and social responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>[Maritime] survival techniques<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Items which will be issued to you on loan.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>You will be issued overalls and any standard personal gear required for personal protection during training.\u00a0 Once you have successfully passed basic training you will be issued a uniform.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Items to bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You are to cater for your personal private clothing. As you will be wearing uniform most of the<\/p>\n<p>time, not much civilian clothes will be necessary.
